Egg-shaped vase with raised mouth

Inventory number: St 102

Eight vertical undulating lines divide the vase into eight equal sections. Each section contains three motifs of two concentric ovals. Neck and foot are connected by these lines and are finished with a yellow stripe.

Technique:

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours finished with yellow and reddish brown enamel on a white ground. The enamel has run far out of the contours (firing fault).
