Egg-shaped vase with raised mouth

Inventory number: St 112

Four vertical sections, each decorated with a large stylised abstract spiral motif on a yellow background. These alternate with white sections, bordered by vertical lines with a capital connecting neck to foot. Both neck and foot finished with a manganese stripe.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours filled in with yellow, manganese, blue and ochre enamel on a white ground. Crackling mainly visible in the yellow and the white.
