Small egg-shaped vase with raised mouth

Four bands of superimposed yellow ovals reach up to the shoulder, alternating with four stylised ears of corn which end in a curl on the neck. The ovals are superimposed over a blue crescent enclosing a serrated half-oval. Blue band on the lobed foot.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours filled in with cobalt, yellow and black enamel on a white ground. Slight crackling in the white.
