Cylindrical vase

Inventory number: St 408

Foot finished with a green band, decorated with palmettes. From the rim down to about a third of the body runs a matt bottle-green frieze, outlined in black, of shield-shaped valences, with a printed gilt decoration. Four inverted lilies hang from the valences, four tassels in between the valences. The neck has a matt black band between two gilt stripes, decorated with red and blue dots.

Slip-cast form. Bottle-green and matt black enamel on a white glossy ground, decorated with printed gilt contours finished with a few drops of red and blue enamel.
