Egg-shaped vase with raised mouth

Neck and foot finished with a blue stripe. Below the stripe from the neck, an undulating line with ovals nestled inside its curves. Below this line and above the stripe on the foot, a wide band of stylised spirals. These two bands are connected to one another by five white vertical bands outlined in blue. The five sections delineated by these bands have a marbled surface made up of different colours, in which blue dominates.

Technique:

Slip-cast form. Pounced blue decoration, underglaze, on a white ground. Marbled surfaces obtained by superposition, without outlines, of blue (different shades) and grey glazes over an underlayer (for sharper outlines).
