This design is called "Moonwort" or "Honesty". Eight stems of honesty are distributed over the body at a slight slant. Each stem bears six seed pods which all come together on the body.

Slip-cast form. Stencilled decoration of matt ochre glaze on a ground of matt bottle-green on the foot, chestnut on the lower part of the body, and brown up to the neck. Contours applied with a brush.
