Spherical vase with raised mouth

Inventory number: DP 115

Around the body runs a frieze of juxtaposed vertical ellipses of different sizes, each finished with a green squiggle. Above and below this frieze, twelve vertical blue lines run to the neck and the foot, both of which are emphasised with a blue stripe.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours finished with blue and green matt glazes on a white ground. Crackling visible in the white. Inside glazed black.
