Foot finished with a stripe consisting of interlaced slanted motifs. Above this stripe runs a wide frieze decorated with six pairs of stylised penguins in an identical pose. Neck finished with a band of crossed circle segments connected to a double chestnut stripe by three short vertical lines.

Slip-cast form. Pounced decoration of matt cream and chestnut glazes on an ivory-beige ground. Contours of the glazes finished with a powder glaze before firing (blurred contours). Inside glazed chestnut.
