Double-gourd bottle

Inventory number: St 487

Neck finished with a royal blue stripe. The body is decorated with four groups of two flowers and stylised leaves on a ground strewn with small dots with a serrated outline in cobalt and brown. Foot finished with a blue band with an irregular outline at the top, following the outline of the decoration on the body.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours, traced with ochre slip, filled in with matt watery green, brown, yellow and cobalt enamel on a white ground. Black enamelled inside.
