Egg-shaped vase with raised mouth

Inventory number: St 53

Around the shoulder runs a frieze with four groups of three stylised, evenly arranged flowers. They are separated from each other by round concentric motifs. The frieze is bordered by bands decorated with crossed semicircles separated by dots in reddish brown enamel. The same band is repeated towards the foot.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours finished with matt blue, olive green, watery green, orangey ochre, reddish brown and black enamel on a white ground. Black enamelled inside.
