

The eight facets are alternately plain black and decorated with a complex pattern of simple geometric motifs in different colours over the whole top part of the facet. Around the black foot runs a band with the same geometric pattern as that on the coloured facets.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours traced with ochre slip, filled in with matt black, brown and olive green enamel on a white ground. Inside completely painted in ochre slip.
