The centre of the cover is decorated with a medallion with a lobed edge around a stylised flower composition. The medallion is connected to the rim by eight triple lines (two white and one black) along the backs of the flutings. The outer rim of the box is decorated with an undulating black band delineating white semicircles with its top curves.
