Stylised central decoration of four deer in various poses. Frieze on the foot, composed of round, geometric and abstract motifs, separated from the central frieze by a band with parallel inclined stripes. The same band is repeated on the neck.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours filled in with cobalt, azure, green and black enamel on a white ground. Crackling mainly visible in the white ground. Juxtaposition of enamels without outlines for the anatomy of the animals.
