On both sides, the central decoration is a putto on a mythical dolphin (different poses), in a medallion with a border of plant motifs. The two ends of the flower pot are moulded as mythological dolphin heads, which are connected by a scalloped border. Acanthus leaves in relief below the dolphin heads. The foot starts with a beaded ring, has a palmetto decoration as it widens, and ends in a fluted foot rim.
