Neck finished with an ochre stripe and a watery green stripe. Foot finished with a chestnut band. On the body, three identical pairs of stylised budgerigars, each on a thorny branch emerging from the foot and ending with a bunch of stylised flowers. Each bird is outlined against a chestnut hexagon decorated with ochre volutes and the female birds are surrounded by stylised flowers.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with pounced contours (invisible after firing), traced with ochre slip, filled in with matt chestnut, black, watery green, peach, pale yellow, azure, reddish brown and green enamel on a white ground. Black enamelled inside.
