Triple-gourd vase

The top of each constituent spheroid is emphasised with navy blue mottled with ochre. The spheroids are separated from one another by three parallel wavy lines. From the top of each spheroid, stylised lianas hang down, ending in spirals.

Slip-cast form. Pounced decoration of navy blue and beige glazes, airbrushed with ochre through a stencil for a mottled effect, on a cream ground, all underglaze.
