Cache-pot

Inventory number: St 442

The form has a rounded square section, with lobed corners, and tapers towards the foot. At the bottom, the four lobes of the corners form the feet of the cache-pot. Diaper pattern decoration of lozenges on the sides and corners. Rim finished with a serrated cobalt band both inside and outside. The inside serrated band is decorated with turquoise lozenges.

Slip-cast form. Decoration with printed contours finished with cobalt and turquoise enamel on a peach enamel ground. Enamelled and crackled inside. Crackling less perceptible on the outside.
