Wide-mouthed egg-shaped vase

The shoulder has a frieze with stylised flowers, finished with bands of alternating three vertical white ovals and a black ellipse motif. Underneath this frieze, the body of the vase is divided into vertical sections consisting of five white bands with beige edges. These sections are separated from one another by a vertical black line. The neck and the foot are finished with a slip stripe. The foot has a band with the same motif as the frieze on the shoulder (but with two instead of three vertical ovals).

Slip-cast form. Decoration with contours traced with beige slip, filled in with matt black, green, reddish brown, yellow and reddish purple enamel on a white ground. Black enamelled inside.
